What an extraordinary experience!
Being picked as Student-in-Residence was a huge honor for me, especially in the 25th anniversary year of the Festival. In the lovely surroundings of the Swiss Alps we, the young musicians of the Verbier Academy, had the most amazing time.
Masterclasses, rehearsals, workshops and many other projects offered to us made each day of the three weeks extremely special, yet at times quite challenging – and then there were the concerts with the stars for extra excitement! I can’t imagine that such a combination exists anywhere else in the world!
